PUBLISHING IRELAND
Publishing Ireland is the national resource organisation for book publishers in Ireland. We organised the first Great Irish Book Week in 2009 in an effort to boost the book publishing and book selling sectors. The campaign highlights the fantastic range of books on offer from Irish book publishers, who account for just 15% of the book sales market in Ireland.
Publishing Ireland was founded in 1970 as a response to the need felt by publishers to share expertise and resources in order to benefit from opportunities and solve problems which were of common concern to all. Membership of Publishing Ireland has grown significantly over the years and now comprises some 93 trade, general and academic publishers.
